Yellow gold

This is one of my favourite colour combinations, the magnificent depth of the blue against the light shiny gold you cant fault it it's absolutely fabulous. This design is super easy because it's aimed at beginners who want cracking looking nails, with out all the technicality of of lots of equipment which makes room for errors. I did my nails on a rainy afternoon and I was so content and relaxed.

Magnetic nail effect

I am in love with this nail effect it's so sophisticated and futuristic, the way the polish catches the light is simply marvellous. The polish gives a wonderful 3-D effect. In all honesty it takes quite a few attempts to get it right but it is well worth the wait.

Velvet nail effect

I have been trying to get my hands on this product for a while now since I am such a cheapskate, I took a chance and went into £1 land however they didn't have my favourite colour blue. I went back to the store twice and they still didn't have it but the third time I was a a very happy bunny. I love this nail effect because of the texture and the vibrant colour. when applying the polish always apply two coats for full coverage. When I washed my hands the texture was still in tac, my nails lasted 2 days due to the cheap polish. The image on the right shows me experimenting with my nail remover I call this design moon crate nails. This manicure is simplicity at it's finest it's fast and glamorous why not give it a go.

Equipment Needed:

  • Blue velvet effect kit purchased from £1 land includes: blue polish, velvet and a brush.

Whirlwind

This design is created with very light brush strokes. Black is the dominant colour that morphs into grey, this demonstrates the confusion of a whirlwind. The black haze that consumes everything in it's path is so powerful, yet it is caused by high winds therefore we can only see the damaging effect that it leaves behind.

Equipment needed:
  • Essie - White
  • Fake nails
  • Nail inc - Silver polish
  • Rimmel london - Black polish
  • Rio professional - gold glitter polish
  • Sally Hanson- double duty top coat

Awesome Autumn

I am absolutely transfixed by the beautiful golden colour of the leaves at autumn it is easily one of my favourite seasons. I used acrylic paint for this nail design because it was easier to work with whilst layering the different colours. I go crazy for glitter so why not add some glam with silver nail polish.

Equipment Needed:

  • Acrylic paint, Yellow and Orange
  • Sally Hanson base coat and top coat

Stiletto manicure

I can't put into words how much I love a stiletto manicure. The length of your stiletto nails is completely up to you I personally prefer them longer because it more playful, furthermore there is a bigger canvas to work with. I think stiletto nails drift on the boarder of elegance, with a well thought out outfit you cant go wrong.
