Royals

I have named this design Royals because it ooze’s sophistication and elegance. If you like a modest and chic design to wear look no further. This is a design to wear to work, college or for everyday. I used red acrylic paint because it's a lot easier to work with, it doesn't dry so quickly therefore you can paint roses's with ease.

Equipment Needed:

  • Maybelline colour show - White
  • Rimmel london -Black
  • Red acrylic paint - purchased at the works uk
  • Paint brush

IM THINKING OF CHANGING THE NAME OF THIS DESIGN, ANY SUGGESTIONS. WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED

Thank You x

I only painted the grids and roses design on two of my nails because no matter how hard i tried it wasn't working. My apologies I spent ages trying to take a better picture of my nails but then I gave up sorry.

Houndstooth

I can now announce that flower week is over, I tried to produce more design but it was awful, therefore I am sincerely apologetic.
my current love affair is with houndstooth, its so elegant and sophisticated. The simplicity of this design is fabulous. Black and white is now officially my favorite colour combination to work with. Im still an amateur when it comes to Konad, but after deep breathing and a lengthy rampage I can say that it's an excellent product once used correctly.

Equipment Needed

  • Essie - White
  • Black Cab - Rimmel london
  • Houndstooth - konad

Humbugs with Roses

Yes. yes I did use masking tape in order to create the black stripes, I am just bad at it. i'll work on it promise :p This nail design is gorgeous I just hope I did it justice. The black and white contrast is bold, it really holds its own against the lushes red. To be honest it took me a few times to do this design but it was well worth it. The hardest part other than the stripes where the roses it was hard make red bloops resemble a beautiful delicate rose.

Equipment needed:

  • Essie - White
  • Brush
  • Rio Professional -  Black

Cherry Blossom

Im currently taking a break from everything abstract. I saw this design on google and I thought that it was amazing, this design is inspired by robinmosesnailart. I love the beautiful ombre pink and red because it adds depth and complexity. If your thinking about creating this design, it's important to consider the sizes of the cherry blossoms.

Equipment Needed:
  • Essie - White
  • Rio professional - Brown, Pink and Red

Soldering effect

Inspiration Alexander McQueen under the sea collection

Yesterday I posted a caviar nail picture, which lasted a day however throughout the day beads fell off. I glued my caviar bead but surprisingly it didn't damage my nails, but the beads took forever to take off. I took off the beads and left the remaining nail polish on my nails, I then layered black and white polish onto my nails before adding a shimmery topcoat. These nail ideas are open to interpretation so they wont be everyones cup of tea.

Equipment Needed:

  • White polish
  • Black polish - Rio professional
  • shimmery top coat - O.P.I last friday night

Caviar Rock Star

My room is now covered in Caviar beads hence the containers, However whilst doing this manicure I had a lot of fun. At first when I finished my nails I wasn't overwhelmed, but when I removed the misplaced nail polish and looked at them in natural light I was really happy. Right after putting the caviar onto my nails they fell off, therefore I used nail glue this is not recommended but I didn't have and top coat. Personally I prefer my Caviar manicure without a top coat because it looks more 3-D. I don't really wear black polish so I through in some silver.

Equipment Needed:

  • Black polish - Rio professional
  • Caviar - Ebay
  • Container x2
  • Sally Hansen - Top coat + Base coat
  • Sally Hansen - Nail varnish remover
  • Nail glue - Boots
