Rimmel london lasting finish

Product review Rimmel London lasting finish - 080 Black cab

This product can be purchased in the UK for £2.99 which is reasonable, considering on the day purchased I had a budget. This is a 8ml bottle of polish which is descent. I purchased this product roughly about 2 months ago, which is pretty good. I added a small drop of nail polish remover to the polish which brought it back to life, it had the same consistency. If you add in to much nail remover it will dry up within a couple of hours. Overall it is a great product as promised it give you a lasting high intense shine. It works well with konad.

I could only come up with one down side:
At the end of the day you get what you paid for, The colour isn't bold therefore you will needed to apply to coats of nail polish. The consistency of the polish is thin but dry's quickly. However I still like this product and I might be tempted to by it again.

Royals

I have named this design Royals because it ooze’s sophistication and elegance. If you like a modest and chic design to wear look no further. This is a design to wear to work, college or for everyday. • Rimmel london -Black
  • Red acrylic paint - purchased at the works uk

Houndstooth

I can now announce that flower week is over, I tried to produce more design but it was awful, therefore I am sincerely apologetic.
my current love affair is with houndstooth, its so elegant and sophisticated. The simplicity of this design is fabulous. Black and white is now officially my favorite colour combination to work with. Humbugs with Roses

Yes. yes I did use masking tape in order to create the black stripes, I am just bad at it. i'll work on it promise :p This nail design is gorgeous I just hope I did it justice. The black and white contrast is bold, it really holds its own against the lushes red. To be honest it took me a few times to do this design but it was well worth it. The hardest part other than the stripes where the roses it was hard make red bloops resemble a beautiful delicate rose.

Soldering effect

Inspiration Alexander McQueen under the sea collection

Yesterday I posted a caviar nail picture, which lasted a day however throughout the day beads fell off. I glued my caviar bead but surprisingly it didn't damage my nails, but the beads took forever to take off. I took off the beads and left the remaining nail polish on my nails, I then layered black and white polish onto my nails before adding a shimmery topcoat. These nail ideas are open to interpretation so they wont be everyones cup of tea.

Equipment Needed:

  • White polish
  • Black polish - Rio professional
  • shimmery top coat - O.P.I last friday night

Caviar Rock Star

My room is now covered in Caviar beads hence the containers, However whilst doing this manicure I had a lot of fun. At first when I finished my nails I wasn't overwhelmed, but when I removed the misplaced nail polish and looked at them in natural light I was really happy. Right after putting the caviar onto my nails they fell off, therefore I used nail glue this is not recommended but I didn't have and top coat. Personally I prefer my Caviar manicure without a top coat because it looks more 3-D. I don't really wear black polish so I through in some silver.

Equipment Needed:

  • Black polish - Rio professional
  • Caviar - Ebay
  • Container x2
  • Sally Hansen - Top coat + Base coat
  • Sally Hansen - Nail varnish remover
  • Nail glue - Boots

Furry Feather Manicure

This is my first attempt at a feather manicure. I used a plain pink feather in hindsight it shouldn't be in strips it should be a full feather and statically placed, preferably with a print because the nail design looks more complex and interessting. When I applied the top coat it looked shabby, because the feather weren't flat. In conclusion I love the idea of a feather manicure I'm just not that good at it. The manicure last quite a long time so it defiantly worth trying.

Now I can make more cool funky designs for you to see once I've received my fake nails in the mail, which I don't actually wear personally but it's easier to create designs on a regular bases. I currently own two colours of nails polish blue and red, So shopping is in order I think.

Rio professional can be purchased on Amozen.co.uk, the nail varnish features a thin long brush and a pen if you remove the lid. This a cheap polish so it wont last as long even with base coat and top coat, but it is good for tutorials.
